Privacy policy

This policy covers the jpam.studio website. Each of our games also has its own privacy policy, linked below, which explains exactly what that game does with your data.

Effective date: November 5, 2026

1. Who we are

JPAM Studio ("we", "us", "our") develops games and apps and operates the website jpam.studio. JPAM Studio is run by Paul Allan Manacap, 105 Venancio P. Inting Avenue, Tagbilaran City 6300, Bohol, Philippines. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

Game privacy policies:

  • Bill's Sudoku Privacy Policy: collects no personal data, no account, no ads.
  • Kingside Chess Club Privacy Policy: bots, puzzles and lessons stay on your device; optional online play uses a username, country and ratings.
  • Lily's Minesweeper Privacy Policy: guests keep everything on their device; the optional leaderboard uses a chosen name, country and game results.
  • Jade Haven Mahjong: no account and nothing is sent to us; your best times are kept only in your browser (full policy).
  • Wella's Garden Quest: no account and nothing is sent to us; your stars, coins and garden progress are kept only in your browser (full policy).
  • Night Mile: no account and nothing is sent to us; your best score and sound setting are kept only on your device (full policy).
  • Break Royale: offline play needs no account and sends nothing to us. Online games run through our server (or directly between friends), and optional Apple or Google sign-in for ranked play keeps only your player name, rating and results, never your email. Offensive names are filtered, and if you report another player we keep the report so we can review it; your blocked list stays on your device. You can delete your account in the game (full policy).
  • Asterhold: campaign and skirmish play stay on your device. Optional online rooms run through our game server, which sees only the name you type, your room code and your in-game orders while the room is open, and keeps none of it (full policy).
  • Rydasta: Moto Racing: single-player progress stays on your device. Online racing and the global leaderboard send your rider name, country and run results to our race server; rooms are discarded when empty and leaderboards keep the top runs (full policy).
  • Solitaire: Lost Atlas, Vovos and Lumibrix: no account and nothing is sent to us; your progress and scores are kept only in your browser (Lost Atlas policy, Vovos policy, Lumibrix policy).
  • Veltrique (Chinese Poker and Pusoy Dos): no account, nothing saved and nothing sent to us; your cards and scores exist only while the page is open, and every deal is played for points, never money (full policy).
  • Aeronivra: no account and nothing is sent to us; your unlocked operations, best scores and sound setting are kept only in your browser (full policy).
  • DraftPro (draft survey app): no accounts, analytics or advertising; the vessel and cargo figures you enter stay on your device and are never sent to us (full policy).
  • Simoy Marine: no account, ads or analytics; your saved spots, routes and settings stay on your device. To show a forecast, the app sends the location you ask about (and, if you allow it, your current position) to the Open-Meteo weather service (full policy).
  • Solstice (browser for Mac): no accounts, analytics or telemetry; your history, bookmarks, passwords and website data stay on your Mac, and we receive nothing about your browsing (full policy).
  • JPAM Reviewer (MARINA exam reviewer): no account, ads or analytics; your answers, mistakes, flagged questions and study days stay in your browser and are never sent to us (full policy).

2. Information we collect

We aim to collect as little information as possible.

  • Game data stored on your device. Settings, progress and statistics (such as puzzles solved or games won) are saved locally on your device or browser and are not sent to us, except where a game's own policy says otherwise (for example, Kingside online play).
  • Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, so we can reply and help you.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running. We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics to understand overall traffic.

You do not need an account to browse this website, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information. Optional online play in Kingside Chess Club, Break Royale, Asterhold and Rydasta is described in each game’s own policy.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain and improve our games, apps and website
  • To respond to your questions, bug reports and feedback
  • To keep our services secure and prevent abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run our services, such as Cloudflare for website hosting and security. If you download our apps from an app store (for example, Google Play or the Apple App Store), that store may collect information under its own privacy policy. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe them.

The News page

Our News page shows headlines from news organisations’ public feeds. The headlines are gathered by a small server we run at news.jpam.studio and delivered to the page from there; your browser does not contact the publishers until you click a headline, which opens the article on the publisher’s own website under that publisher’s privacy policy. The News page sets no cookies and sends us nothing about which headlines you read.

The Movies page

Our Movies page plays films inside the page from their hosts: Blender Studio’s films through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) and public-domain classics through the Internet Archive’s player. Nothing loads from those services until you open a film and press Play; from then on, the host’s own privacy policy applies to the player (Google, Internet Archive). Your “My list” and “Continue watching” are kept only in your browser and are never sent to us.

The Music page

Our Music page streams audio files directly from the Internet Archive (archive.org) when you press play; the Internet Archive’s own terms and privacy policy apply to those requests. Your favourites, recently played tracks and volume are kept only in your browser and are never sent to us. The page uses your device’s media controls (lock screen and headphone buttons) through the browser; nothing about your listening leaves your device.

Radio on the Music page

When you open Radio on the Music page, your browser asks Radio Browser, a free community directory of internet radio, for its list of countries and stations, and tells it which station you choose so it can rank popular stations; this includes your IP address, as with any web request, but no name or account. When you press play, your browser connects directly to that station’s own streaming server, which also sees your IP address and is covered by the station’s own privacy policy. JPAM Studio receives none of this. Your chosen country and saved stations are kept only in your browser.

The Books page

Our Books page lists free books and magazines. Opening a title takes you to its publisher’s own website, often straight into the book, (such as Standard Ebooks, Project Gutenberg or the Internet Archive) in a new tab, where that site’s privacy policy applies. The covers on our page are drawn by the page itself, so nothing is loaded from those sites until you choose to read. “My shelf” and “Recently opened” are kept only in your browser and are never sent to us.

Daily puzzles and game guides

The Daily puzzles page makes each day’s Sudoku in your browser from the date, so nothing about the puzzle is downloaded or sent. Your progress, solving times and streak are saved only in your browser (local storage) and are never sent to us; clearing your browser’s data removes them. “Share your time” only creates a short text that you choose where to share. The game guides are plain pages and collect nothing. The links to the daily modes of Vovos, Jade Haven Mahjong and Kingside Chess Club open those games, whose own policies apply.

5. Children's privacy

Our games are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Data retention

Game data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, for example by clearing your browser data or uninstalling the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you and for reasonable record-keeping.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, the GDPR in Europe or similar laws, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including serving our website over encrypted HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website or in our apps.
